Shakur Stevenson (20-0-0, 10 KOs) makes a bid for a world championship in a third weight class when he takes on Edwin De Los Santos (16-1-0, 14 KOs) for the vacant WBC lightweight title at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Thursday night in the second of two championship bouts on the card. In the co-main event, WBO super-featherweight champion Emanuel Navarette (38-1-0, 31 KOs) makes his sixth title defense when he takes on Robson Conceição (17-2-0, 8 KOs). Both fights will be televised nationally on ESPN after the undercard is complete.

Stevenson last fought on April 8 in his hometown of Newark, New Jersey, stopping Shuichiro Yoshino at 1:35 in the sixth round. He won the WBO featherweight belt in October 2019 and later held the WBC and WBO super-featherweight belts before he missed weight on Sept. 23, 2023, for his bout with Conceição.

De Los Santos is fighting for a world championship for the first time. He has won three straight fights since his lone loss in Jan. 2022 and won a lopsided unanimous decision over Joseph Adorno in Atlantic City on July 8 in his last fight.
